I've been doing a lot of thinking and just growing up in the eight months since I moved up here. Some of it was necessary, some of it was just because. This does NOT mean that this will be a regular occurrence, but it's nice to write it out sometimes.
Between work and just regular life it's lately been hectic, but that's what you get for getting 30ish hours a week most times more. That, is going to change come January. I was accepted into the bible college up here! I'm planning on taking their three year program for a Bachelor in Christian Ministry with a minor in Missions. We'll see where God takes me with that!
I've started reading the first of what will be many text books in the coming years and I can't wait to see my professor's take on what is said in in! The first chapter in it is titled "Is this verse in your bible?" and it tackles the basics of going from being attached to worldly things to being able to live a more Godly life. Not saying that all things of your life have to be given away and leave them alone, but to simply learn to love God in a lost world.
The verse that is being referred to is 1 John 2:15 and reads " Do not love the world, or anything in this world."
I think this will be an interesting adventure into the world of God that I can't wait to start!
Praying (somewhat sporadically, but still) with love and the grace of God, me.
